About Me

Welcome! I’m Anne your Spinal Flow practitioner at Abiding Touch.

Your body is amazing!

“The spine is the highway to the infinite” -  Pramahansa Yoganda.

Your body is so intelligent, and it absolutely knows how to heal itself. It works all the time to protect, nourish and enable you to have a fulfilling life.

Along the way, there can be challenges beyond the body’s capacity to process at the time, and in its wisdom, it stores what it can’t process at the back of the mind (the spinal cord) to process at a later time, however, over time, unfortunately, those stored blockages are potentially going to create symptoms of illness, pain and disease as they interfere with the nerves that connect to affected organs, muscles, tendons, glands and tissues coming from the spine.

As a certified Spinal Flow practitioner, I use a gentle yet powerful technique that speaks with the body to start clearing those stored blockages by touching any of the 33 access points on the sacrum and cranium, where I speak with the master controller of the body, the brain and Central Nervous System, thereby expanding its area of ease along the spine which then releases the stored blockages allowing the body to return to ease, flow, connection and healing.

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother, cherishing the blessings of a loving family. My husband is not just my partner but also my closest confidant, whom I adore immensely.

My journey into Spinal Flow began when its transformative power alleviated my own symptoms, compelling me to extend its benefits to others. Hence, I embarked on a training path in this remarkable modality, obtaining certification just before Christmas in 2023.

On the familial front, our two eldest daughters have found their homes in Queensland with their partners and children. I also make time to treat our youngest teenage daughter to spinal flow sessions when there is availability.

Professionally, my background in Social Work, specialising in adult and geriatric mental health, spans years of service across various hospital and transitional care settings in Perth.

Amidst raising our three daughters, I pursued a graduate diploma in Family and Relationship Therapy, driven by a passion to nurture healing and mitigate dysfunction within families.

My expertise extends to somatic therapies, bolstered by certifications in Kinesiology, which illuminates the body's repository of memories, and Guided Drawing, an art therapy modality facilitating the exploration and integration of inner pain or trauma.

Furthermore, my proficiency in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) enables the provision of Rewind Therapy, offering relief from intrusive thoughts.

After a stint running a private counselling practice, I found myself drawn deeper into the realm of wellness through Spinal Flow. Witnessing how the body harbours and seeks to release accumulated stresses, whether physical, chemical, or emotional, fuelled my passion for this modality. It awakened a profound respect and attunement to my own body, understanding it as the sacred vessel of my soul.

Today, as a practitioner of Spinal Flow, I am honoured to accompany you on your journey toward healing and wellness. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to support you and your loved ones, abiding by your side as you navigate the path to optimal health.

I am a Baha’i, meaning I am a follower of the light and it is the most amazing faith. I discovered it in my 30’s and love its authenticity, vision, and healing qualities for both the individual and the whole of the world.

Yours in Health and Healing,

Anne x
